Very friendly and quiet location. Nicolas and his wife are exceptional and make you feel so welcome. They even gave me a special lockup for my bike. I arrived early off the ferry (6 hours before check in) and was welcomed with coffee and pastries. The room was made up while I went for a cycle ride and was made ready early for me. Food excellent.

Short drive to ferry port and in lovely countryside. Warmly welcomed by Sebastian (and later Nicolas) on arrival and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Room and views from it were great. Bed very comfortable with soft bedding. A number of “freebies” in the room and fridge. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Even used their EV charging to top up which was a bonus

My husband and I were in awe of the hotel’s history and authentic architecture! The grounds were gorgeous for a leisurely morning walk. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We loved everything! The Chateau is beautiful! The staff is incredibly nice and helpul! The food is amazing, served in a lovely dining room and the service wonderful. The wine were great. The room very comfortable and pretty. the Chateau is idyllic and is located in a quiet, relaxing and bucolic place (I could see horses from my bedroom window) and is so near Saint-Malo that you can go back and forth easily. Would love to go back every year!!!

Everything and everyone at the Chateau was actually lovely- the grounds are beautiful, the people are friendly, helpful, welcoming and just plain delightful, the room is charming, bed super comfortable. The evening meal was superb on every level, and the breakfast had any variety of food you could want. And a great coffee machine! We will return!!!

A very warm, personalized welcome from Nicholas and the team. Nothing was too much trouble. They took time to accommodate what we needed and very friendly. Rooms are unique. Accepting it’s an old building so no complaints about that. Beds very comfortable and rooms spacious. Very clean and good amenities. A peaceful location but very convenient for St Malo and surrounding areas. Close to big shopping outlet, but also feels right in the countryside. Mealtimes we’re accommodating. On the second night we had early start so didn’t want the full 3 courses and they were flexible about this. No trouble or fuss. Worth a try for one night dinner. Lots of grounds if you want your own space.

The hotel "Chateau" is a great place to stay and has superb ambiance throughout. The staff are excellent and very helpful and converse great in English too. The breakfast was very good. The grounds are worth exploring and the hotel is only a short drive from the historic town of St Malo. We would definitely stay here again. And... look out for the Red Squirrels!!!

Location was great. Spectacular property and nice grounds. Very handy for an early ferry to the UK. Very friendly people and a great packed breakfast fast provided as we had an early start. Very much appreciated and thanks again. St Malo well worth a visit, don't just get on a boat!

A magical place, stepping back in time. Staff were brilliant. We had dinner there one night and it was delicious. Although in the countryside, St Malo, the old city, is only minutes away. We would stay here again.
